Responsibilities:
-Candidates are responsible for obtaining radiographic images on patients as needed in an urgent care environment. Patient demographics can range from adolescent to geriatric.
-Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
-Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment
-Explain x-ray procedures to patients.
-Demonstrate acceptable film quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and collimation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program required.
-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required.
-Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 90 days of hire.
