Overview:


Presbyterian Rust Medical Center (RMC) is conveniently located for patients and members living on Albuquerque\xe2\x80\x99s west side. RMC is patient-centered, environmentally friendly, and technologically innovative acute care facility with 210 licensed beds.


This Radiographer role at RMC performs diagnostic medical radiographics for all units, including coverage of the Emergency Department.


Sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available.


This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), Non-Exempt opportunity.

Qualifications:

• 
  ARRT Certification Required within one year of employment
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• New Mexico Radiography Technician license required.

Responsibilities:


Responsibilities:

• Maintains established department policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, safety.
  
• Performs radiographic examinations.
  
• Checks equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis. Required to maintain required stock of supplies for each radiography room.
  
• Develops film including evaluating film for technical quality.
  
• Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
  
• Transports patients to radiographic room (at times also back to room or ER); prepares and maintains room.
  
• Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings and workshops.
  
• Attends meetings as required.
