Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Requirements:
Education:
Graduate of accredited JERCT program(s) for radiologic technology. Holder of a valid and current: 1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and 2. Licensed as required by the State of West Virginia. Bachelor degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not absolutely essential.
SKILLS:
Uses a variety of stationary and mobile radiation producing diagnostic equipment and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials and devices. BLS required.
