Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a new gaming facility in Florence, Kentucky. Turfway Park Racing & Gaming features 850 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, event center, restaurants, and live horse racing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following the daily format provided, serve as the co-host of pre-race and simulcast broadcasts Provide in depth information, beyond the details that can be found in the past performances, to the viewer in a clear and concise manner Become an expert on everything happening at the track to guide fans through the racing day, promote wagering, etc. Meeting all deadlines, provide selections for each race for use on the simulcast show & website/app Coordinate with TwinSpires to promote the wagering platform, special offers on-air Provide guest analysis on wide array of podcasts & radio shows Record TwinSpires "expert picks" and race analysis videos as assigned Follow, evaluate and promote all the "Road to the Kentucky Derby" preps Assist in "Road to the Kentucky Derby" content as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Three (3) to five (5) years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The employee will be required to sit for extended periods of time While performing the duties of this job, the employee may also be required to stand: walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may be asked to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. The employee may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays The noise level in the work environment is moderate
