Summary of Responsibilities

Retrieving production samples every morning (daily micros) Interpretation of recap to ensure all samples have been received by the lab*
Asceptic preparation of IQF, Matrix, and Fairmont products for 3M Petrifilm plating Preparation of the daily Lab Sheet/paperwork Preparation of pathogen enrichment bags Plating all products Recording temperatures of incubators and refrigeratorsdaily Calibration of the pipettesdaily recording and record keeping Preparation and delivery of all samples to Pace Labs Reading and interpretation of Petrifilm and recording results Preparation/Plating of swabs and recording of results

o Coordination with Qaulity Manager regarding High Swab Counts

Bi-Monthly cleaning of the lab (Every other Monday)

o Removing all items from incubators/refrigeratorswiping down with 70% alcohol


o Cleaning of all countertops


o Scrubbing the floors-shopvac

Changing the temperature charts weekly * Weekend and holiday work hours on rotation
