Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Quality Assurance Technician

to support the Engineering Department in qualifying new and improved products. This role performs dimensional inspections, functional testing, and sample manufacturing to ensure all products meet strict specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform dimensional and visual inspections on new and existing products to verify conformance to specifications. Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, drop indicator, depth gage, optical comparator). Document inspection results using spreadsheets and generate clear reports. Manufacture samples as needed, including operating injection molding and assembly machines. Conduct statistical analyses and present findings with recommendations. Support MRB and Quality teams with root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities. Evaluate and improve inspection/testing procedures; assist in training on new processes. Perform additional duties when needed, based on skillset and workflow.

Qualifications

Experience with dimensional inspection or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment preferred. Familiarity with injection molding or assembly processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with measurement tools. Ability to analyze data and create organized reports. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar programs.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
