Quality Technician

. This role is responsible for ensuring the production of safe, high-quality products that meet internal standards, customer expectations, and regulatory compliance requirements. The Quality Technician conducts inspections, performs testing, and collaborates closely with production and cross-functional teams to maintain and improve product quality.

Essential Responsibilities and Expectations:




Although not all inclusive, additional responsibilities, expectations and skills will include:

Follow established procedures to evaluate products, production equipment, and manufacturing processes to ensure finished goods meet quality, safety, and customer standards. Conduct routine and non-routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods to verify conformance to quality standards and customer specifications. Inspect returned products as directed, analyze defects, document findings, and compile data for reporting. Present inspection outcomes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective and preventive solutions. Assist with and adhere to the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), including participation in internal and external audits. Identify, communicate, and report product or process non-conformities to management for further action. Perform incoming goods inspections in accordance with the company's Quality Management System. Actively participate in production processes and work cross-functionally to ensure company and customer requirements are met.

position will frequently have a combined education and/or work experience that is a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two or more years' work experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications:



Associate's degree preferred in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field; or equivalent work experience in a quality control or quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems. High attention to detail with an understanding of business acumen and financial impact. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and complete assignments accurately, safely, and on time. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
