Capitol Aggregates is seeking a Quality Control Intern to support our quality team in ensuring all products meet required standards. This hands-on internship provides valuable experience in quality control testing, lab work, and documentation while working alongside experienced professionals in the cement and aggregates industry.
What You'll Do
------------------
Learn and apply testing methods, procedures, and equipment under the guidance of technical staff.
Assist with collecting product samples from various stages of production for quality testing.
Prepare materials in the lab and conduct testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
Help maintain and calibrate quality control equipment for accurate and reliable results.
Support accurate recordkeeping of laboratory testing and results.
Maintain work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition at all times.
Abide by and support all company and plant safety policies, rules, and procedures, as well as MSHA regulations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Must be currently enrolled in a degree program in
Materials Science, Concrete Industry Management, or a related field
