Quality Technician
to be a part of their 1st shift quality team. This
hands-on inspection role
involves supporting high-precision components, so attention to detail and accurate documentation are essential.

Your Responsibilities
Conduct
receiving, in-process, and final inspections
on precision machined parts
Utilize inspection tools such as
micrometers, calipers, indicators, surface plate tools, and optical comparators
Confirm that incoming materials meet
certifications, revisions, and specifications
Review and approve certifications for materials and special processes to ensure compliance
Accurately record inspection results and any nonconformances within the ERP system, maintaining data integrity
Interpret
engineering drawings and GD&T
requirements to ensure parts meet specifications
Maintain thorough inspection records, guaranteeing complete quality traceability throughout the process
Operate
CMM equipment
as needed (experience is a plus)
Note:
Initially, for the first 6-12 months, the role will primarily focus on
receiving inspection and documentation
, with a later shift towards shipping/final inspection duties.

What We Need From You
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of quality or inspection experience
in a manufacturing or machine shop setting
Solid understanding of
GD&T
principles
Comfort in performing measurements to very tight tolerances (including tenths, 0.0001")
Familiarity with documentation and traceability requirements, particularly in certification-heavy environments
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and inspection paperwork accurately
Demonstrated attention to detail, organization skills, and reliability in performing tasks
Bonus Points:
Aerospace manufacturing experience
CMM or automated inspection experience

Schedule Details
1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (earlier start optional)
While occasional overtime might be available, it is
not guaranteed
The facility will be closed from
Dec 22 - Jan 3
(this will be unpaid time off if your start date falls before or during this period)
