Job Description

Kranze Technology Solutions is seeking a Quality Technician for Mechanical/Dimensional inspection to join our growing Quality team. This position will be supporting Receiving and Final Inspection. The position will ensure that product meets dimensional, testing and certification requirements. The Quality Technician will also ensure products are received and/or produced in accordance with specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Works under the direction of Quality Director and/or the Quality Engineer
• Performs inspections of incoming and finished products
• Ability to inspect and measure material using approved measuring equipment
• Approves receiving paperwork after review of Packing List and Certification documents
• Documentation of inspection results
• Ensure products meet KTS and customer expectations based on drawings and specifications
• Communicates and Initiates Reject or NCR reporting when inspection issues are found
• Works with the MRB team to resolve product issues
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. US Citizenship required.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

• Associates degree in a related field (Quality, Engineering, Math, Industrial, etc.) or sufficient work history

Minimum Previous Experience:

• 2+ Years Experience as a Quality Inspector/Technician within the aviation, electro-mechanical, fabrication, connector/cable, or defense industry

Other Preferred Skills:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software
• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) experience
• Developing quality plans based on various requirements

Physical, Environmental and Mental Demands:

• Environmentally controlled location
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks
