We're looking for a Quality System Specialist to join us in shaping and strengthening our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 and other international standards.

The Opportunity

The Quality System Specialist plays a critical role in managing and improving our QMS across the company. You will lead internal audit programs, mentor a team of auditors, and identify opportunities to align quality initiatives with business strategies--driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Develop, lead, and mentor a team of Quality System Auditors to foster a culture of quality excellence. Maintain and enhance the company's Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 standards and company objectives. Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of quality-related documents, including manuals, procedures, and records. Plan, conduct, and coordinate internal and third-party audits to assess QMS effectiveness. Monitor and manage corrective action plans resulting from audits. Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management practices. Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring teams. Background in developing training programs around Quality Systems and Continuous Improvement. Proficiency in audit processes, documentation management, and quality improvement methodologies. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business, or related field preferred. Certified Quality Auditor or ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification strongly preferred. Experience in Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma continuous improvement programs. Prior quality management experience, preferably in fastener distribution or a related industry.
