Job Description
Job Title: Production Operator (Quality Tester) Role & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant quality lab setting.
- Performance of various quality testing tasks in factory environment.
- Must be willing and able to learn testing duties from instruction and self study, including the ability to recognize and respond to test trends.
- Possess basic communication and problem solving skills.
- Recording of quality data and other results in the manner required.
- Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
- Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.
- Able to work in a manufacturing lab setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
- Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.
- Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
- Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
- Possess ability to become proficient at performing tests and taking measurements as needed to verify product is within specifications.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Shift: Swing
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
