Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The Quality Control (QC) Inspector in a gear manufacturing facility is responsible for ensuring that all gears and related components meet strict quality standards, specifications, and industry regulations.
Essential Functions:
Inspection of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring tools and specialized inspection equipment. Works closely with production, engineering, and management to identify defects, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes. Use a variety of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMMs) to assess production dimensions and tolerances. Perform visual inspections to detect defects or non-conformities and document findings. Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate product measurements. Assist in troubelshooting quality issues and work with the production team to resolve them promptly. * Support continous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and insights from inspections.
