The standard schedule: Mon - Thu 6:00am-3:30pm Fri - 6:00am-10:00am

Job Summary
Inspects and tests manufacturing processes and products to ensure product quality. Instrumental in the assessment and analysis of failed products, determining root cause and documenting statistical findings for future quality improvements. Works with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability. The process quality technician will also assist to ensure nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned.

Warehouse QA Essential Job Functions

  • Implement and monitor previously developed quality assurance plans to ensure compliance with all specifications and standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Process Control Plans.
  • Troubleshoots, configures, assembles, and tests industrial computers and electromechanical equipment and provides feedback to Engineering.
  • Selects products for test at specific stages in production process or failed products; identifies necessary equipment and supplies needed; conducts tests or experiments requiring selection, adaptation and/or modification of test equipment and test procedures. Tests products for a variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics or failure mode.
  • Designs, sets up and performs destructive and non-destructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, material characteristics or root cause of failure.
  • Development and maintenance of quality procedures/instructions and ensure production personnel are following proper procedure for ongoing production checks.
  • Field, track, organize, report, and analyze customer complaints, product issues and field failures. Assist the Quality Manager in resolving customer issues.
  • Work with Product Managers and Data Management to correct and update Bill of Materials and product data & work with Product Sourcing and Product Managers to resolve NCMR\xe2\x80\x99s in a timely manner.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and 5-8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related field; or Vocational School in Quality and 2-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related field.
  • Solid understanding of quality techniques and principals as well as problem solving and testing procedures.
  • Solid experience troubleshooting and repairing computers and monitors to the component level.
  • Broad knowledge of parallel and serial communication hardware and protocol.
Competencies \xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Presentation skills that allow for the effective communication of project status and product issues. Ability and experience handling complex issues and problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics
  • Ability and experience using advanced quality inspection tools and electronic testing equipment.
  • Excellent math and analytical skills
  • Excellent problem-solving. trouble-shooting skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience documenting test results and quality trends with graphs and charts.
Operational Equipment

May use test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, force gauges, optical comparators, soldering irons and test fixtures.
