Looking for an experienced energetic CMM programmer to work in a very dynamic Quality Control department of ASML. This person is very self-motivated, comfortable working in a team environment and can easily adapt to quickly changing priorities. They will be working on tight tolerance components in an ever-growing environment and working closely with Engineering on the measurement projects. The physical job location is in Newtown CT.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. \xc2\xa7 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

Measure first article mechanical parts to 100% of Technical Product Document to verify supplier\xe2\x80\x99s ability to produce parts to ASML specifications. and/or measure limited features on volume products or test equipment material.

Generate measurement program on Brown and Sharp [Hexagon PCDMIS] or Zeiss Prismo [Calypso] CMM to measure mechanical parts and generate reports with point maps to submit to Engineering and Supplier for evaluation.

Document inspection results by writing Material Notification reports for not-conforming parts using SAP to qualify and quantify observed deviations from the product Technical Procurement Document.

Accountabilities:

Closely control the use of tools, materials and equipment; Verify conformance of incoming materials.

Issue non-conformity reports for all non-conforming materials.

Maintain work area in accordance with 5S principles.

Properly transfer material in SAP for stock, rework or scrap.

Maintain material status in Excel (or similar) spreadsheet.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with all company regulations.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.

Education and experience

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum 3 years of dedicated CMM programming using PCDMIS or CALYPSO.

Complete knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.

Working knowledge of Vision System measurements.

Understanding and experience reading, and interpreting Unigraphics CAD models.

Ability to import Unigraphics models into PC-DMIS for programming.

Certified in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Strong equivalent considered.

Strong Ability to read and understand engineering drawings used to inspect machined parts.

Proficient in surface plate layout and dimensional inspection techniques.

Experience or knowledge of working with very tight tolerances and specifications (in the 2-micron range).

Proficient with dimensional inspection and test equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, Pin Gauges, Gauge Blocks, Micro Hite Gauge, Go-No Go Gauge, Depth Gauge etc.).

Proficient with; Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word (and SAP a plus).

The following skills are not a requirement but are a plus: ASML will train as needed:

Generate measurement program on Mitutoyo 606 Vision Inspection system used for non-contact measurement of mechanical parts and or sub-assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and Technical Procurement Documents.

Surface plate set up and measurement capabilities - utilizing standard inspection tooling including Height Gage, and leveling plates.

Material Handling experience, with use of electric forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies overhead crane and other related equipment.

Knowledge of SAP.
