SUMMARY




Maintains and coordinates quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties assigned as needed.


Product gauging and inspection, and make decisions regarding product quality.


SPC data collection and evaluation.


Execute the nonconforming product system and coordinate rework.


Process rework paperwork.


Perform inventory transactions in SAP.


Maintain inventory of hold area.


Any other tasks as necessary.


Required to be able to work overtime as needed

Qualifications



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE




Required to have High School Diploma or equivalent education.


Knowledge of Bosch Automotive parts.


Skilled and knowledgeable with personal computer software such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, SPC software, or appropriate company sponsored software.


Strong organizational skills, problem solving, & time management skills needed.


Self-motivated with ability to work as an individual and in a team environment is a must.

LANGUAGE SKILLS




Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and technical procedures. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from shiftleaders, managers and customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS




Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY




Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
