Primary Responsibility:

• 
  Responsible for the quality engineering functions within manufacturing operations
• Develop, formulate, and direct procedures for achieving and maintaining high standards for product quality, reliability, and safety in accordance with company, customer and industry requirements
• Coordinate and direct assurance activities and procedures for raw materials, processes and finished products.
• Collaborate with other Departmental Leaders/Managers to select and develop key personnel in forming specialized work groups to monitor, evaluate and improve processes and then be capable of providing performance feedback to appropriate areas
• Lead and support the implementation of Quality Engineering methods (SPC), Six Sigma and Lean to ensure processes are capable
• Work closely with subordinates to develop individualized development plans
• Develop and document quality assurance standards in conjunction with the development and distribution of the standards manual to quality personnel throughout the Company.

• 
  Minimum Qualifications:
• 4 Year Degree with 10 years\' experience required
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desired
• Green Belt certification required
• American Society for Quality - Quality Engineer, Manager and Auditor certifications desired
• Position requires dependability, effective communication skills, ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and exercise good judgement repeatedly and consistently
• Must possess good organizational skills, project management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks, including follow up and task completion
• Position requires up to 25% travel
