The Quality Engineer Intern will support the Quality team by assisting with product evaluations, data analysis, and process improvements. This internship provides hands-on experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment and offers exposure to cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Suppliers.

Responsibilities

Assist in evaluating and improving the quality of new and existing products. Support internal audits and help document quality-related issues. Collect and analyze data to track quality metrics and trends. Prepare reports and presentations for quality initiatives. Participate in root cause investigations and learn problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys. Assist with supplier quality checks and compliance activities (minimal travel may be required). Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process for rejected products.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. Strong interest in quality assurance and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

Office setting. Seldom exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Loud working environment of the shop area. Functional vision and hearing required.
