The Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes in compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 requirements and review supplier documentation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for nonconformances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and audit findings.
• Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory reviews.
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and PPAP to monitor and improve processes.

The ideal Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102 standards.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with NADCAP and special process audits.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and quality management software.
• ASQ certifications (CQE or CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
