The Quality Engineer - Aerospace Machining Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and maintain quality assurance processes for aerospace machining operations in compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles to verify dimensional accuracy of machined components.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 requirements and review supplier documentation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for nonconformances.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, control plans, and audit findings.
• Utilize quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and PPAP to monitor and enhance process capability.

The ideal Quality Engineer - Aerospace Machining Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within aerospace machining or precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and AS9102 standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CMM programming and advanced inspection techniques.
• ASQ certifications (CQE or CQA) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and quality management software.
