Position Overview:



We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities across multiple project sites meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and safety.

This role involves regular travel between different project sites to conduct inspections, coordinate with project teams, and maintain consistent adherence to project specifications, codes, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:



Conduct daily inspections at assigned project sites to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. Review construction quality across all trades including Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP works. Ensure work is performed in accordance with California Building Codes (CBC), Los Angeles Building Code (LABC), OSHA standards, and company QA/QC protocols. Identify, document, and report deficiencies, non-conformances, or workmanship issues and follow up to ensure timely corrective actions. Prepare detailed inspection reports, checklists, and quality documentation for management review. Coordinate with Project Engineers, ACMs, and subcontractors to ensure corrective measures are implemented. Assist in reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for quality implications. Monitor workmanship during all phases of construction including foundation, structure, MEP rough-ins, and finishing works. Support project closeout process by verifying punch list completion and handover requirements. Promote and enforce company-wide quality assurance standards and continuous improvement practices. Travel regularly between project sites as required by management and project schedules.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required. Master's Degree (Structural Engineering or related field) preferred. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Quality Control/Construction Inspection for multifamily and commercial projects. Strong knowledge of all trades (Civil, MEP, Architectural, Structural) with demonstrated experience working for a General Contractor (GC). California Professional Engineer License (PE) or equivalent required. Proven track record of managing QA/QC on complex projects from start to closeout. Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills. Proficient in construction documentation, QA/QC procedures, and applicable codes. Willingness and ability to travel across multiple project sites on a regular basis.
