Quality Assurance Specialist

1) Fulltime Monday through Friday

Need to be available to train during days for four (4) weeks. Schedule will them move to an agreed upon schedule that covers part of day into evening hours.

We currently supply EL-ZIP Press to Close Zippers to more than 1000 customers in over 60 countries on 6 continents.

Wage $20.00 per hour

The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide expertise, and continuous improvement to the Quality Assurance function in the plant.

Some things you will get to do:

Product sample checking

Administer the plant Quality Management System in accordance with current protocols and provisions, as defined in Integrated Management System Program

Communicate the plant Integrated Management System expectations to all personnel provide training accordingly

Maintain documentation and records associated with plant Integrated Management Systems, Risk Management Process, and Food Safety Systems Certification (FSCC 22000 and BRC Packaging materials)

Participate in internal audit program

Assure that all non-conforming products are managed (including identification, segregation and timely final disposition) in accordance with current applicable policies

QUALIFICATIONS

6 months to 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance role

Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation communications.

Demonstrate continuous learning in competencies related to Quality Assurance and Food Safety

Preferred competencies include:

o Experience with (FSCC 22000 and BRC Packaging materials) company Knowledge of Food Safety,

o Food Safety Risk Management

o Internal Auditing
