Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Quality Assurance Manager

to lead and oversee our quality management systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards such as USDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant quality protocols. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality control, conducting quality audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to uphold product safety and efficacy. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a critical role in fostering a culture of quality excellence across all operational levels.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive

quality systems

aligned with USDA regulations, HACCP, GMP, and other applicable standards. Lead

quality audits

to evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; document findings and implement corrective actions. Oversee

quality control

processes including

quality inspection

and testing to ensure products meet specified standards. Manage

quality assurance

activities across manufacturing operations to prevent defects and ensure product integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on

project management

initiatives aimed at process improvements and risk mitigation. Analyze data from inspections and audits to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for enhancement. Train staff on

quality systems

, policies, and best practices to promote a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards through regular reviews and updates of quality protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in

manufacturing

quality control

, or

quality assurance

roles within regulated industries Strong knowledge of industry standards including USDA regulations, HACCP, GMPs. Demonstrated expertise in conducting

quality audits

and managing

quality systems

implementation. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify root causes of issues. Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
