The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance and compliance programs across home health and hospice services. This role ensures adherence to regulatory standards, supports continuous quality improvement, and promotes best practices in patient care and documentation.
Essential Functions:

Coordinate and manage Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Monitor and report on quality measures, including CAHPS surveys and internal audits.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee infection control programs, including training, documentation, and trend analysis.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain related documentation.
Manage emergency preparedness programs, including plan development, staff training, and system maintenance.
Support clinical teams with documentation review and compliance checks.
Facilitate employee regulatory training programs using platforms like Relias.
Collaborate with leadership to establish quality goals and improvement strategies.
Participate in organizational branding, events, and community engagement.
Represent the agency professionally in internal and external settings.
