As a Quality Assurance Associate within PNC\'s Tempus Technologies organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

As a Quality Assurance Associate, you will be part of the Release Quality Assurance team. In this role you will work closely with developers to gain an understanding of applications that they are building. Testing is generally done in a three week spring. The first two weeks will generally be spent learning about the application, determining how it would be properly tested and then writing a test script. During the third week, the development team would send you the completed application where you would thoroughly work though to determine if it can pass into production or if it would need additional development.

Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking candidates who have a basic understanding of reading API and turning it into test scripts. Automation, application testing, web page testing or regression testing experience also preferred.

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.


  • Supports QA activities and staff in assuring product quality and integrity.
  • Verifies that product documentation is in sync with product functionality.
  • Monitors and verifies that quality activities are in line with control procedures.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and distributes reports and process control statistics.
  • Maintains and disseminates defect documentation and logs. Provides supports for software testing activities and staff. Plans, executes, and documents validation test cases. Conducts data comparisons. Participates in administering the testing process. Verifies that all necessary product checks and tests have been completed.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
