Position Summary:
The Qualified Mental Health Specialist (QMHS) provides community-based behavioral health services to adolescents ages 5-17 who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. This role focuses on providing therapeutic behavioral support, mentoring, and skill-building interventions in both group and individual settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily transportation for clients to and from the after-school program, summer camp, and other approved locations.o Conduct therapeutic behavioral support (TBS) sessions in individual and group formats.o Facilitate after-school group programming Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM - 6:35 PM.o Maintain a minimum productivity rate of 60%, equating to 6 billable hours daily.o Participate in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.o Document all client interactions and services in a timely and accurate manner using the EHR system.o Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and redirection when necessary.o Serve as a positive role model and mentor to assigned youth.o Collaborate with the treatment team, including clinicians, case managers, and family members.o Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.o Ensure compliance with agency policies and Medicaid regulations.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
