national Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand
for an
exceptional District Manager
based in
Kansas City, Missouri
.

5-7 locations
and a workforce of
125-150 employees
.
Key Responsibilities
The District Manager will be a results-oriented, people-driven leader responsible for ensuring each location operates with excellence, integrity, and consistency.
Lead and Inspire Teams
- Motivate and develop a network of General Managers and leaders who deliver operational excellence and live the brand values every day.
Oversee Multi-Unit Operations
- Manage all aspects of daily operations across 5-7 restaurant locations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Build and Retain High-Performing Teams
- Hire, train, and retain exceptional talent by creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
Drive Employee Engagement
- Implement innovative recognition and retention programs that strengthen morale, reduce turnover, and cultivate loyalty.
Develop Action Plans for Success
- Analyze key performance metrics and build strategic action plans to optimize sales, service, and profitability across all units.
Lead Through Servant Leadership
- Empower others through trust, mentorship, and example, fostering a culture where leaders serve their teams to unlock peak performance.
Ensure Operational Excellence
- Uphold brand standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, ensuring consistency across every guest interaction.
Maximize Financial Results
- Deliver profitable growth through effective P&L management, cost control, and operational efficiency.
Conduct Regular Restaurant Visits
- Provide hands-on coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations, fostering continuous improvement through in-person leadership.
Ensure Compliance and Safety
- Maintain adherence to company policies, food safety, and labor regulations, including
ServSafe certification
and best-in-class operational safety practices.
Champion Retention and Development
- Create individualized development plans for managers and key employees, preparing them for future leadership roles within the organization.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Operations, HR, and Training to ensure seamless execution of new initiatives, product launches, and company programs.
Elevate Guest Experience
- Lead by example in delivering hospitality excellence that builds community trust and strengthens brand reputation.
Create a Culture of Accountability and Achievement
- Drive ownership at every level by setting clear expectations, celebrating wins, and turning challenges into opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven Multi-Unit Leadership:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple QSR or fast-casual restaurant locations.
Servant Leadership Philosophy:
Committed to empowering others, removing barriers, and developing future leaders.
Team Development Expertise:
Proven success leading, motivating, and engaging teams of 125-150 employees.
Operational Mastery:
Strong background in operations management, compliance, and brand execution.
Strategic Mindset:
Ability to design and implement data-driven action plans that drive measurable results.
Retention-Focused Leadership:
Demonstrated history of improving employee retention and building high-performance cultures.
P&L and Financial Acumen:
Skilled in managing budgets, analyzing KPIs, and delivering profitable growth.
Hands-On Leader:
Enjoys being present in the field and leading by example.
ServSafe Certification:
Current or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Bachelor's Degree Preferred:
Business, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

$110,000 - $135,000 (based on experience and market scope).
