Creative Thinkers Therapy Center is seeking a Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to join our dedicated team in our growing autism services program. As a QSP, you will oversee clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and the supervision of behavioral services provided under the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) benefit, aligned with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) standards.

Position Summary

The Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) is responsible for clinical oversight and quality assurance of EIDBI services. You will ensure that treatment planning, service delivery, documentation, progress monitoring, and family/caregiver training adhere to DHS EIDBI guidelines and best practices. You will work closely with behavior therapists, clinical supervisors, families, and the administrative/quality team to maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

Oversee clinical components of the EIDBI program, ensuring compliance with Minnesota DHS regulations. Develop, monitor, and revise Individual Treatment Plans (ITPs) every six months (or more frequently as needed) based on data and evolving needs. Conduct quality assurance reviews of clinical documentation, progress notes, data collection, treatment fidelity, and outcomes. Provide supervision, direction, and mentoring to behavior therapists, clinical supervisors, and direct service staff. Facilitate family and caregiver training, promoting generalization of skills and home-based implementation. Participate in client assessments and evaluations to confirm diagnoses and service needs annually. Collaborate with quality/administrative team to address compliance, audits, corrective/preventive actions. Maintain professionalism in all client, family, and team interactions; uphold confidentiality, cultural responsiveness, and ethical standards.
Qualifications (Per DHS EIDBI Requirements)

Required:

Master's degree (or higher) in behavioral health, psychology, social work, special education or a related field. Valid Minnesota license (e.g., LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Behavior Analyst) in good standing. At least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience diagnosing, assessing, and treating individuals with autism spectrum disorder or related conditions. Strong knowledge of EIDBI policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) and other evidence-based modalities. Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Physical ability to work with clients who may exhibit challenging behaviors. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families.
Preferred:

BCBA or equivalent certification. Experience working in an autism services center or behavioral health setting. Experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or compliance roles. Ability to provide supervisory support for staff seeking BCaBA/BCBA certification.
Work Schedule & Structure

Flexible scheduling: full-time, part-time, contract, or consultant status available. Duties may include in-person, in-home, center-based, or telehealth service components. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely (phone or telemedicine) when appropriate. Travel between client sites may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
