Job Description

Perform the inspection for vendor purchased products, raw material & packaging and labeling components/materials using applicable sampling plans. Generate or have the capability of generating Sampling Plans Monitor and report on the quality of products / materials received through Inspection Report incidents or de viations detected during the sampling/inspection process. Assists in identification and segregation of identified materials/products with deviations to local procedures. Manage and maintain related documentation as required, keep quality records aligned with cGMP's and GDP. Maintain sampling areas clean and in proper condition Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Minimum Associate Degree in Sciences or related field One-year experience utilizing inspection techniques in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical Industry is required. Ability to read and interpret measuring instruments, including but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, hardness testers, etc. Good math skills, and good hand / eye coordination. Ability to communicate and work with various functional groups in a team environment. Strong Work Ethics Lifting weight up to 25 pounds on regular basis and up to 50 pounds on occasional basis. Must be able to stand for scheduled work hours, if necessary. High level of concentration and attention to detail required ensuring products are properly labelled and packaged according to internal quality requirements. Ability to multitask Availability to work overtime or extended periods based on business needs is required. Experienced with forklifts Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
