JOB TITLE: PWI Production Team Member

REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer

HOURS/STATUS: As needed /Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $15.50 - $20.00 Hourly

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, complete production jobs as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Attend staff and in-service meetings as appropriate

Help set up workstations and retrieve necessary production materials and tools.

Work on all phases of production as needed which include but is not limited to:

o Counting

o Shrink -wrapping

o Collating

o Labeling

o Taping

o Boxing

o Assembly

o Sorting

Perform Quality Control functions (count/quality checking) as required.

Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes and silverware

Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery.

Assist in palletizing and wrapping pallets of finished product.

Load and unload shipping trucks.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidates for this position will have the ability to demonstrate and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement; good verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects. Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs. Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED preferred. Zero to two years of experience working in a production environment. Experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Expect occasional dust and fumes within the production area.
