Position Summary

The PV Performance Technician is responsible for monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting C&I PV solar systems to ensure optimal energy production. The role focuses on hands-on verification of system performance, SCADA/data analysis, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with commissioning and O&M teams. This is a non-degree, experience-focused role emphasizing field performance and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor PV system performance using SCADA/DAS platforms and on-site testing

Identify and troubleshoot underperformance, inverter alarms, and system faults

Conduct periodic inspections of modules, inverters, combiner boxes, and AC systems

Document findings, corrective actions, and performance metrics

Support commissioning and O&M teams with system start-up, handoff, and troubleshooting

Validate production data against expected performance (PR, energy yield)

Assist in preventive maintenance and operational optimization
