Overview:

Manages all operational and administrative activities for the Food & Beverage Warehouse, including monitoring and controlling operating costs, managing inventory needs and providing direction to the full-time and seasonal staff. Continually seek to improve standards within area. Assists the Director in evaluating operational results, formulating budgets, planning future departmental growth and in formulating and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Procurement - Prepares and places food orders to satisfy the varying demands of the food stands within the park. Ensures requested items are delivered to locations within the park and are properly accounted for.
• Administers the Food Bid and awards purchasing contracts. Corresponds with vendors within the guidelines of the purchasing policy.
• Financial Reporting \xe2\x80\x93 Maintains financial reporting documents used in directing management efforts and reporting information to outside stakeholders.
• Safety - Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities
• Warehousing - Oversees the warehousing, inventory and safe handling of goods.
• Staff Management \xe2\x80\x93 Leads a team to success by coaching, developing, mentoring and correcting as necessary. Works with Human Resources to ensure proper staffing levels to meet business needs.

• Extensive food experience in all aspects of the Food Service industry, including purchasing, production, service, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance of procurement process established by the company.
• Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
• Experience in high food production and multi-unit operations.
• Strong organization skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Serve Safe certified or ability to complete a Serve Safe certification class.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state of provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
