The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of our Contract Management System (CMS) and for adherence to procedures and policies as defined. Specifically, he/she will work with the ISNetworld team as well as with our group companies and support the in-house contract management system for contractors that do not meet the ISN requirements. In addition, the Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with our company\'s EHS group to ensure contractor compliance for all work performed on the company site; will assist with implementation of ISN to new group companies; and will communicate with Group company points of contact, outside contractors, vendors, and facilities\' leadership and provide documentation, training, and guidance as needed. Position is work from home with in-office hours occasionally required. Responsibilities
Assists with the coordination and schedule of meetings with new and existing group companies to review status of roll out, process definition, and compliance
Keeps detailed global action log of key activities across primary participants
Documents meeting progress and outcomes including meeting minutes and key action items for participants and follows up with action items to ensure they are completed in a timely manner
Works with Purchasing, EHS, Facilities, and Operation departments within various group companies to define or augment internal processes to ensure contractor compliance
Assists with weekly status reporting on roll out progress on active sites and stage gates of implementation
Reports weekly on contractor compliance and grades across the enterprise and communicates to leadership on how to gain compliance
Assists in tracking and rolling out of all deviations from the process using DocuSign forms
Works with HLUS Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing Teams to assist with key contractor documents and ensure compliance before purchase requisition is created
Oversees vendor management and relevant systems and communicates to required company personnel for contractors not meeting required document acknowledgement
Enters and maintains data in the in-house contractor management system and communicates with outside contractors to ensure all required documentation is current
Assists in working with the ISNetworld team to review and ensure timelines of key implementation activities
Assists with user set up and login to ISNetworld site
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; Associate\'s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field or a combination of experience and formal accredited education
3-5 years of experience within the manufacturing industry in any of the following areas: EHS, Facilities, Maintenance, Operations, etc.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and web-based applications is critical
Experience with contractor management systems and compliance implications
Sound knowledge of process identification, definition, and documentation
Ability to influence and lead where there are no direct or solid lines of hierarchy
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of business via phone, written communication, and in person by using strong communication and interpersonal skills (both listening and verbal)
Strong analytical abilities with impeccable attention to detail
Experience with cost improvement projects and industry best practices
Understanding of lean manufacturing environment or exposure to continuous improvement
Ability to willingly make decisions, exhibit sound and accurate judgement, and make timely decisions
Ability to effectively multitask and work in fast-paced team environment
Ability to work without direct supervision in a safe and effective manner
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
