JOB TITLE: Pump Attendant - Part Time

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Hourly

SHIFT SCHEDULE: Evenings/Weekends availability

DEPT LOCATION: 920 N Phoenix Rd, Medford, OR 97504-9392

REPORTS TO: Retail Store Manager



The role of a Pump Attendant will provide service to customers such as pumping gasoline, greeting customers, conducting customer transactions, and other assigned duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide friendly service to customers Operate cash register to enter convenience store and gasoline purchases Greet and assist customers Assist with fuel dispensers Account for all monies Clean gas pumps and surrounding areas Light janitorial duties, collect and dispose of trash, wash windows, clean and maintain equipment, lot, car wash and building interior/exterior, Maintain car wash Miscellaneous duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift Must be flexible to work various schedules such as weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Must have the ability to accurately handle money Must have strong attention to detail Must have excellent customer service skills Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly lift and or move up to 20 pounds Exposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler) Work with cleaning solvents and chemicals Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products (This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
