Job Description

The Town of Jackson, Public Works Department is now accepting applications for the full-time position of Water Utility Operator. Hiring Range $54,600 - $62,400 annually or $26 - $30/hr. DOQ. This is an excellent opportunity for a value centered, team-oriented professional. The primary duties include maintenance of the Town\xe2\x80\x99s water distribution system, plant equipment, wells, pumps, mains, equipment operation related to water, and analysis and documentation associated with the water system. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School graduation or equivalent, a Wyoming Class B Commercial Drivers License, 2+ years experience in a maintenance position utilizing heavy equipment or excavation equipment, and a Level II DEQ Water Distribution License or ability to obtain within 18 months.
