Under the general direction of the Water Reclamation Manager or Field Supervisor, the Public Works Program Manager is a working-level supervisory position responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and supervising a crew in the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Orem Water Reclamation Facility. The primary responsibility is to ensure all treatment processes, plant operations, and effluent discharge consistently meet or exceed the requirements of the Utah Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (UPDES) permit and other environmental regulations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Technical coursework in Wastewater Technology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field is highly desirable. Possession of a valid State of Utah Driver's License. Possession or currently in the process of obtaining a Utah Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification.

Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
