Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and their goods to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle. Responsibilities

Safely operate a van or commercial vehicle to transport passengers and goods. Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs at designated locations. Communicate effectively with passengers regarding their travel plans and any changes. Maintain the vehicle in good working condition through regular inspections and cleaning. Assist passengers with loading of ADA accessible equipment as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns. Assist riders into the bus and or/van daily Fill out necessary public transportation reports daily Collect and record fares paid by persons using transportation. Communicate with dispatch, director, and site director daily.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver, van driver, or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for passenger assistance. Experience in shuttle driving or paratransit services is a plus.
