Public Transit Driver
Seward County Public Transit Department is hiring for a part-time Driver position! This position is flexible in scheduling involving 8-16 hours/week.
Work involves responsibility for the safe operation of buses and related motor vehicles used in the transportation of residents or clients. Work also involves maintaining passenger discipline and assuring passenger safety; maintaining mileage, vehicle service and related records. An employee in this class is expected to have knowledge of and comply with all laws and regulations concerning the operation of motor vehicles. Supervision is received from the Director with work being reviewed through the safe and satisfactory operation of buses and related vehicles.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, be able to legally perform work in the U.S., have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Driver\'s License, and pass a pre-employment DOT drug test and throughout employment.
