Position Summary:

Line one is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented, professional communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent writing skills, adaptability to client needs and a strong enthusiasm for learning and growth are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and support public relations and communications plans across multiple channels. Draft, edit and distribute press materials, media pitches, white papers, blog posts, newsletters, social media content and other written content with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure consistent messaging and timely project delivery. Monitor media coverage and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the media landscape. Identify potential issues or challenges and proactively bring them to the attention of the manager or director. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless team execution of communications initiatives. Coordinate and manage client events. Assist with design needs when needed

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in public relations or communications. Demonstrated understanding of public relations practices and media relations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively. Professional demeanor with the ability to interface effectively with clients and media contacts. Event management is a plus, with the ability to organize, coordinate and execute successful events. Proficient in Canva.

Base Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
