We are looking for a Public Health Program Coordinator to manage partnerships and community outreach for our client. This position will be full-time contract and hybrid.
What You'll Do
Manage partnerships and community outreach components of grants and cooperative agreements acquired through the Cancer Control Program, ensuring timely and successful interim and annual progress reports for federal grants/cooperative agreements
Connect Indiana communities and organizations with opportunities supporting local evidence-based health education programming and communication initiatives in cancer prevention and control
Establish goals, priorities, and methodology while maintaining extensive knowledge of health communication programs/initiatives within the Cancer Control Program
Provide, manage, and promote e-based public health initiatives to community partners
Maintain and update the Cancer Section website and other Chronic Disease websites
Serve as lead on e-newsletters, maintain distribution lists, partner with organizations on news articles, and disseminate e-newsletters and other outreach through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Provide technical assistance to Indiana community health centers, local health departments, schools, and other organizations on data, resources, evidence-based practices, and programs
Serve as community outreach and program content support for other Cancer Section staff regarding local organizations, health organizations, and community-based organizations
What You'll Need
Required:
Valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and willingness to travel around the state by car
Ability to work outside regular working hours, including overnight stays
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and multi-media communication skills
Conflict management, public speaking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary, multi-site teams
Computer skills include CMS software, Salesforce marketing programs, and Adobe publishing software
Ability to analyze data and convert it to action
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Preferred:
A degree in health science, health policy or administration, social science, or relevant field
Background and experience working with public health non-profits, coalitions, or community health care organizations
Courses in communication, project management, and data analysis
Familiarity with policy, systems, and environmental changes related to cancer prevention and control
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA and other standards
Sedentary work requiring sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional movement around the office
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer using a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$30p/h - $34p/h
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
