We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media / Marketing Coordinator to promote our small business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and customer engagement. This role is perfect for a college student looking for a flexible role working a few hours each week. You should have a strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, and analytics, along with proficiency in various digital tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Create compelling content tailored to each platform to drive engagement, brand awareness and sales. Create monthly newsletter with engaging and timely content to drive sales and event registration . Analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns. Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.

Requirements

Proven experience in social media management. Strong skills in content creation and graphic design. Knowledge of tools such as Mailchimp and Hootsuite for scheduling posts. Experience with digital marketing techniques including branding and relationship management. Proficiency in analyzing data using Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools to inform strategy decisions. Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading content. Familiarity with photography principles is a plus; ability to create visually engaging content is essential.
