Security Officer (Part-Time)

Chevy Chase Club | Chevy Chase, MD

$30?$33 per hour

Status:

Part-Time | Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and employees through patrols, surveillance, and prompt response to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol Club grounds, buildings, and parking areas Monitor security cameras, alarms, and radio communications Secure perimeter gates and exterior doors Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports Enforce Club policies, including parking and safety procedures Provide professional, courteous service to members and guests Assist the Front Desk when needed Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively during shift changes

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional Ability to work nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays

Education & Experience

Associate?s Degree preferred At least one year of related experience (law enforcement experience a plus) Adult CPR and AED certification required
