We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychotherapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals facing various challenges. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy in a supportive environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Provide psychotherapy services utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for clients dealing with issues such as PTSD, addiction, grief, and developmental disabilities.
Engage in crisis intervention and management to support clients in acute situations.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and case management.
Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy services when necessary.
Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic practices and outcomes.
Stay informed about current trends in behavioral health to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Valid licensure as a Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Experience working with children and families is preferred; experience with special populations such as geriatrics or individuals with autism is a plus.
Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies.
Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment protocols, and medical records management.
Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches including Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, and Group Therapy.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
