Seeking Licensed

Psychologist

for outpatient private practice. Provider must be able to work with our team and provide exceptional services for our patients and seek the best care possible.

Main Location: Thomaston Counseling Center is a beautiful Victorian building tucked away up on a hill on South Main Street in Thomaston, CT. We have close HWY access and on a bus route. We are in Litchfield County, near Waterbury, Middlebury, & surrounding towns!

We have many other providers who are licensed in CT, Tri-State area and More!

About the Psychologist Position:

W2 position part-time position/waiting to be engaged

Psychologist DUTIES REQURIED:

This is a primarily in the Office position or Home Health.

- Do thorough evaluations/assessments for ADHD, Autism, Alzheimer, neuro, personality, and more.

- Psychological testing and mental health therapy.

- Diagnosing patients, create goals/plans/lifestyle changes, & prepare health official health documents.

- Communicate effectively with all professionals involved in the patients care and the practice. This includes parents, school, court cases, DCF, PCP, and other care providers.

- Scheduling is flexible.

- Must be able to use the EHR/EMR system and will receive full training with the system and more. System also has on call emergency services for providers; as well as be able to call early -late times when needing help outside of training with the practice.

- Some admin work will be required , provide must be able to complete all need information for Intakes, notes, and other needs that TCC may need.

- Complete patient notes with in 24-48 hours

- Provider must be on time and well organized for patient appointments and professional bed side manner and customer service.

Preferred Applicant Skills & Schedule, but not required:

-Background working with 5+ years and older.

- Other certifications
