Job Description





Works with licensed neuropsychologists to coordinate the neuropsychology program. Coordinates and oversees the administration and scoring of standardized psychological tests as part of targeted and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for pediatric and young adult patients receiving treatment or returning for follow-up neuropsychological monitoring for pediatric cancers and serious blood disorders. Directs training of psychologist assistants in appropriate behavioral management strategies and the maintenance of detailed behavioral observations during test administration. Oversees the maintenance and organization of neuropsychology service supplies. Coordinates and oversees test data entry into clinical and research databases. Coordinates clinical trial testing in line with designated research deadlines. Demonstrates independence in the development of written clinical summaries for clinical trial patients. Trains graduate students and neuropsychology trainees (e.g., interns) in standardized test administration and scoring. Supervises psychologist assistants.
Position Requirements:
Required: Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Psychology or related field (Education, Counseling) from a regionally accredited college or university. Minimum of 2,000 hours testing, scoring, and associated administrative experience (equivalent to one year full-time work experience as a psychometrist/school psychometrist)

Preferred: Previous assessment experience with infants and toddlers.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Required: One of the following:
1. Certification as a Psychometrist by the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP) or
2. Certification in School Psychometry and completion of School Psychometry Program or
3. Licensure as a Psychological Technician
