Job Description

Kenneth Cole Counseling, P.S., part of the Center for Psychological Services, is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Psychological Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position involves a balance of administrative responsibilities, clinical support, and technical proficiency in a confidential mental health setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to multitask with compassion and discretion.

Responsibilities



Accurately type and take notes during psychosocial interviews (minimum 60 WPM) using established templates.

Prepare and organize materials for psychological and neuropsychological testing.

Meet with the supervising psychologist prior to appointments to confirm test lists and materials.

Administer and score standardized assessments as directed.

Assist with report drafting and proofing, including formatting and uploading completed reports.

Research diagnostic information and testing materials as needed.

Order testing supplies and maintain accurate inventory through approved vendors (Pearson, MHS, WPS, PAR).

Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, archiving, and file maintenance in compliance with C4P Document Retention Policy.

Communicate professionally with clients, clinicians, and outside agencies.

Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate patience and professionalism with all clients.

Occasional receptionist duties

Required Qualifications



Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a social science field or currently completing degree requirements.

Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute with strong accuracy (typing test may be required).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable learning additional systems such as Egnyte and Therapy Appointments.

Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

Ability to work effectively in a confidential mental health environment requiring accuracy, discretion, and compassion.

Some understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Experience working in an office setting.

Preferred Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in psychology or a closely related field.

Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).

Understanding of psychological evaluations and common assessment procedures.

Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.

Hours:

Part-time; schedule varies by testing volume (approximately 20-35 hours per week)

Compensation:

$22-$28 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
