Come join a vibrant and welcoming outpatient and community practice at Spurwink! Spurwink's Outpatient and Community Services division is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team in Lewiston. Comfortability and experience working with both children and adults required. This is a salaried 40 hour per week position but would consider 32 hour position for the right candidate.

DUTIES:

Provide psychiatric evaluations/assessments and psychiatric medication management services. Maintain client records and documentation according to Spurwink, billing, regulatory and licensing standards including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Meet productivity expectations for billable services. Participate in team meetings and collateral communication to ensure care coordination as indicated. Participate in monthly/quarterly supervision depending on licensure requirements and keep supervisor apprised immediately of emergencies and/or situations that require mandated reporting. Demonstrate Spurwink values and Recovery principles in fulfilling all job responsibilities and actively support the integration of Spurwink values and Recovery principles in all areas of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program and completion of an accredited graduate or certificate advanced practice education program required. 1-2 years of experience as a PMHNP in a community mental health setting is preferred. Maintenance of current Maine Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse License, maintenance of current national certification as a certified nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Maintenance of current Drug Enforcement Certification. Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role.
