Pyramid Healthcare is excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a dedicated Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to become a vital part of our inpatient team in Newport News, VA! In this rewarding role, you will focus on providing direct care to adults battling Substance Use Disorders, all while working collaboratively with a passionate team of healthcare providers to ensure our clients receive the comprehensive care and support they deserve.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care to clients with Substance Use Disorders. Consult with primary healthcare providers to meet the physical healthcare needs of clients. Coordinate with medical staff from state and inpatient facilities to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and evaluation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care and progress.

Required Qualifications:

Active medical license as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia. Minimum of one year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting. Direct clinical training and work experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Commitment to providing compassionate and client-focused care.
