Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health services across diverse clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in behavioral health, including working with patients of all ages. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Experience in telehealth, acute care, geriatrics, and specialized treatments. The practitioner will play a vital role in managing complex cases involving mental health conditions, medication management, and crisis intervention within inpatient, outpatient, or community-based settings.

Duties

Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and physical examinations utilizing advanced clinical evaluation techniques. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology, therapy modalities, and behavioral interventions. . Participate in case management activities including discharge planning, utilization review, and outpatient follow-up to ensure continuity of care. Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to mental health services across various populations including assisted living residents and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.

Skills

Expertise in behavioral health assessments for seniors (geriatrics), patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, and those requiring memory or sub-acute care. Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with strong communication abilities for triage and family education.

Pay: $45.79 - $55.15 per hour
