Job Summary


The PRP (Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program) Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering comprehensive mental health and behavioral support services within a dynamic clinical setting. This energetic position involves coordinating patient care, facilitating therapy sessions, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols. Responsibilities



Coordinate and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic coding using ICD-9 and ICD-10 standards to ensure accurate documentation and treatment planning. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or behavioral emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate social work principles, case management, and behavioral health best practices. Maintain meticulous medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical documentation, notes, and progress reports. Engage in research activities related to clinical counseling techniques, data collection for outcome measurement, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Provide specialized support for patients with complex needs such as PTSD care, addiction counseling, grief counseling, working with people with autism or developmental disabilities, and geriatrics.

Experience



Proven experience in clinical counseling or behavioral health settings with a focus on mental health therapy or social work. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Hands-on experience with crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols in inpatient or outpatient environments. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation and medical record keeping. Experience working with diverse populations such as children & families, individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or those requiring special education services Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health treatments and familiarity with HIPAA compliance for patient privacy protection. Bachelors Degree Required. 3 years of experience in supervisory role required.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
